Deband (Lv. 30)Have a team of Forces? Forces are notoriously bad at taking damage, so make them harder to damage with Deband! Have a team of Hunters and a Force? Buff them all up so they can stay on the front lines with their melee attacks! Deband 30 is reasonably expensive at 7 cost, but prevents up to 4 damage from every physical attack and will likely be able to target your entire team. Excellent to pull out in a pinch, especially when facing mostly physical attacks. You can download Deband (Lv. 30) in the Power Ultimate Get! set from the cards page. |
GatlingThe Gatling is a powerful Mechgun-series weapon. In addition to the decent damage (9 damage at 6 cost), it shares the gun-series' ability to be used defensively as well to prevent Melee damage from enemy attacks. As a Mechgun, it additionally has the ability to combo twice by paying its cost again, twice. If you have the reward counters for it, this can be an excellent way to deal the necessary damage from fewer inventory cards, opening up room in your deck for a wider variety of rewards. You can download Gatling in the base set from the cards page. |
Pan ArmsThe Pan Arms are a bit of a strange creature. It consists of two parts, fuzed together. It also has an amazingly high defense. As far as its card, it has an effective 8 HP for only 3 cost, provided your opponent is only using Physical attacks. Time this carefully, and you might be able to block an attempt. In addition, this enemy has the ability to split when you first play it, should physical resistance not be appropriate for the moment. The resulting two enemies (retrieved from anywhere in your deck!) can both deal damage and debuff characters. Useful indeed, for a measily 3 cost. You can download Pan Arms in the base set from the cards page. |
BatonThe Baton is a weak Force-only weapon. At 4 cost, the 3 damage is pitiful and can leave you open to enemy attacks, which is not somewhere you want to be as a Force. However, like all wands, this one also boosts your spell power when used. If you have a lot of magic cards ready to go, using this on your spellcaster and slinging attack spells can decimate enemy ranks quickly, especially when paired with the natural boosts of the Force characters. As you are not required to use a combat action when using reward cards, you can determine if using a melee attack would leave you open to attack and choose to not use the attack. Either way, the user still gets the spell boost. You can download Baton in the base set from the cards page. |
LeillaLeilla is a bit of an oddity. The other Photon Blasts in this set are all Attack cards. The other Recovery cards in this set let you recovery arbitrary party members. At two cost, it requires the same number of reward counters as Resta 15, and recovers the same amount of HP (also status, but that isn't too much more helpful). Where this card shines is in a larger party. If you have Photon Blast cards ready to go, you can combo this with other powerful attacks from other characters. Not only will those attacks be stronger, but you will also be healing damage as necessary. A bit of a niche card, to be sure, but Leilla in-game is a niche Photon Blast. You can download Leilla in the base set from the cards page. |
De Rol LeDe Rol Le is the boss of the Caves (and the Waterway Shadow mission). At only 5 cost, De Rol Le packs a whallop. In addition to having a decent counter, it also has an amazing 14 health. However, it counts as multiple targets, so be wary of multi-target magic and weapons when playing it. You can download De Rol Le in the base set from the cards page. |
